Hello VALOR Fam!

Almost the end of January already! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and are ready for 2024. Kicking off our first newsletter of the year lets take a look at where we are at so far and a few upcoming plans for the year.

2023 was our first year as a community and what a year it was! Looking back, we accomplished so many things. From completing our first raids as a guild, hitting over 900 in guild, over 500 in discord, running our first PVP tournament, attending our first BlizzCon, and so much more! We spent the year growing and bringing in new members, establishing our leadership and vision. Creating the core of what we intend to become. Establishing core Raiding teams, Mythic+ Teams, PVP Team, Stream Team and our Academy program.

Our focus this year is continuing community growth while working on creating content for our social media. Coming soon we will be starting the For VALOR podcast, where our hosts will discuss everything going on in our community, bring on special guests such as Warcraft creators, our progress team members and officers to talk about various topics.

Summer 2024 we will also be releasing a unique series focused around Warcraft and our community with a gameshow theme. Stay tuned for more on this in the coming months!

The first VALOR meetup of 2024 is scheduled! VALOR will be attending PAX East in Boston, Massachusetts March 21st-24th. We hope to see many of you come hang out! For more information, please see the PAX official website here.

VALOR Blue has progressed to 5/9 and is 1.48% away from downing Mythic Larodar! The team is closing in on the final few bosses with the goal of achieving Cutting Edge. The roster is competitive and still building for the future. If you are interested in applying for trial please apply here.

VALOR Silver is now a Mythic raiding team after downing Gnarlroot and now sitting at 65% on Igira! Progressing quickly through heroic and achieving AOTC the team is activity recruiting for continuing progression. Interested in stepping into Mythic with VALOR Silver? Apply here!

VALOR is stepping into the Mythic Dungeon Invitational, as well as the Arena World Cup. In order to remain competitive and progressing VALOR to the next level we are working to create dedicated M+ and PVP teams to compete at the highest level of Warcraft Esports. We look forward to cheering on the teams in our first season and will be posting updates as the tournaments begin. For more information on trialing for these teams please apply here.

VALOR Academy is actively expanding its mentorship team and organizing engaging events. Sharing their wealth of knowledge with members and aiding them in enhancing their comfort on their World of Warcraft journey. Following the success of our recent Tanking and Healing workshops, we are thrilled to announce our upcoming workshop focusing on the fundamentals of Crafting.

Specializations, Leveling, and Recipe Collection
and much more!
