Hello VALOR Fam!

Greetings, Adventurers! As usual, VALOR is out there making MOVES! We have quite a few members making gains in Hardcore Classic, *ahem* and a few that have expired *ahem*. As a reminder, we have created an alliance guild on Defias Pilager and is open to everyone, so please check it out if you choose to take on the hardcore challenge! There is a prize for being the first guild member to 60 and it’s still waiting to be claimed! See discord for details and GOOD LUCK!

Happy Reset Day! 10.7.1 has ARRIVED!! It has come with many new features like Pinging, New Stories, Class Updates and the reintroduction of the ‘Turbulent Timeways’ event! Neuro has outlined a little bit more about each category in the RESOURCES section of VALOR Academy in Discord! Swing by and take a look!

As most of you know, we also have a great program called VALOR Academy. Within our Discord, we have a great section dedicated to resources for you all to utilize! There is a section with many resources that Neuro and his team have put together, as well as a Chat section for Academy related topics. Within the chat section is also a topic that EmpressChristi has provided information entailing gold making tips and tricks! There is also, like the mod request, a Academy Help section where you can request specific help from a member of the Mentorship and Development program that facilitates VALOR Academy.

We’d also like to take a second to introduce you to a Discord feature that you may not have realized is available to any and all members! There is a ‘Mod Request’ feature that allows you to submit a ticket for any member of the mod team to review and address. We encourage you to use this feature for an questions, concerns or suggestions you’d like to bring to a mod’s attention!

The August Transmog has come to a close and we have our WINNERS! In First Place: Rhino/Vindicated! Second Place: JustCabrian and Third Place Aegisreaver! Congratulations!
The September Transmog theme has been announced: Welcome, Fall! We want to see your best fall themed transmogs! Make sure to post them in the SCREENSHOTS section of Discord, under the September Transmog Contest thread!

Who is Fluffe?

Howdy friends! I’m Zac, or most of you may know me as Fluffé, your psychotic bear druid moderator. I’ve been a druid since I started back in WotLK and have never strayed. I just recently came back to WoW in November 2022 after a 10-year hiatus with this thing called “life”. I’ve been a band nerd since my sister gave me my first Trumpet and of course I have plenty of band camps stories if you are interested! What seems like many years ago, I was performing all over the country in various musical events (solo/ensemble/symphonies/concerts/theaters). I am living the life in the scorching hot state of Texas doing IT work and most of the time avoiding a coworker who likes to think of creative ways we can beat each other up.
You can always find me running keys or sitting in what has come to be known as “my spot” (outside the bank) in Valdrakken. I found VALOR at the beginning of 2023, thanks to the glorious MojoMurray, and have loved every minute of it. This is a community where there is truly something for everyone. Not very often do we find a second family, but I’ve definitely found mine right here.
Next year I promise to grace y’all with my presence at Blizzcon, so until then I’ll see you in our next key together!
