Hello gamers! And happy reset day!

It’s been another fantastic week for community growth as we welcome in 33 new characters including 25 new max level characters. Welcome in everyone! VALOR Blue is currently working on Mythic Experiments progression while VALOR Silver has started progression on Heroic Sarkareth. Both teams: be sure to watch over the fight videos, review the strats, and let Fel or Hona know if you have any questions! Fel is also currently working on putting together additional progression teams for non raid content such as Mythic+ and PVP. More information on this to be announced in the coming weeks, including requirements and how to apply for those teams.

We would also like to welcome Mediah to the Moderator Team! Mediah is active in game, in discord, and also active in our Stream Team members chats. Having an additional mod to assist with directing new viewers to the guild is a massive help to both our streamers and the community. Please join us in welcoming him into the VALOR Mod Team!

Discord changes!

We are in the process of enabling and setting up some of Discord’s new features. With this comes the new “Server Guide” listed at the top of the channel page where you can now see direct links to Rules, Links and other resources!

The specific Warcraft voice channels have been removed and have been replaced with a new channel called 🧙│𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗩𝗢𝗜𝗖𝗘 under the Looking for Group section. When you click this button, it will automatically create a new voice channel and move you into it. This will have a cap of 5 users and will automatically delete the channel once all users have left that specific channel. This prevents the need to have to keep creating new static channels as we grow and have more people in voice chats. For general hanging out and groups larger than 5 people, please use the main General voice channels. Raid teams still have access to specific raiding channels.

This is a work in progress and over the next several weeks we will be testing new features so please use the 📤│𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞／𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗚𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 channel to let us know what works, what doesn’t, and any ideas you may have.

This week we wanted to give a shoutout to one of our newest guild members and someone who has been a major supporter of the VALOR community. She has not only been running group content with our members but helping to recruit and promote the community and VALOR Academy. Please join us in welcoming Justcabrian to the guild!

Who is justcabrian?

Hey, I’m Cab, an avid gamer who’s been playing World of Warcraft since BC. Although I initially played solo content, I now do dungeons, raids, and farm for mounts, pets, and appearances. I main mage but have numerous alts. While Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the first game I was really hooked on, WoW remains one of my favorite games. I also enjoy playing Overwatch, Animal Crossing, occasionally The Sims, and more. I’ve been streaming for a year, but it wasn’t until January that I started taking it more seriously. You can find me streaming on Twitch.Tv/Justcabrian most nights, and I’m proud to have built a community of over 900 followers on Twitch and another 1500+ on TikTok. Around three months ago, I met members of the VALOR guild. I started building friendships with members like Kaydiddyy and Jette_Stream and was drawn to the positive vibe that came from the guild. The sense of community encouraged me to promote and recruit for VALOR, and eventually, I decided to make the leap myself, server transferring my main, and joining the guild. Beyond gaming, I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband of 15 years, and our two sons. When I’m not playing games, I like to read, draw or paint, create cosplays to wear on stream, and make crafts like my most recent summoning stone terrarium.
