General Rules & Content
Players are expected to follow all VALOR community guidelines listed here.
- Official VALOR Teams – Professional Conduct and Commitment: VALOR’s official teams are competitive, high-level groups designed to foster a dedicated environment for players striving to excel in major tournaments and global rankings. Team members are expected to represent VALOR with the utmost professionalism, both in-game and out, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude at all times. As part of an elite group, it’s essential to put the team first, prioritize shared goals, and demonstrate unwavering dedication to excellence. Poor sportsmanship, internal conflict, or any behavior that undermines the team’s success will not be tolerated. Remember, every action reflects on the team and the VALOR community as a whole.
- Team Transfers and Commitments: If you are currently part of an official VALOR team and wish to step down or join a different team, you must first have a discussion with your current team leader. Team-hopping is not permitted, as it disrupts team dynamics and undermines stability. Changes in team placement should be handled professionally and with transparency. If you have questions or concerns about your current team placement or potential transfers, please reach out to a member of leadership for guidance. Maintaining clear communication and mutual respect is key to ensuring the success and cohesion of all teams.
- Teams are not friend groups or cliques. Teams are needed to ensure VALOR is competitive in the world rankings. Check out this great article from raiderIO by clicking here.
Content creation is a cornerstone for the promotion and visibility of VALOR GAMING’s competitive teams and our partners. Players joining official teams are expected to actively contribute to building VALOR’s brand by participating in various forms of media. This includes, but is not limited to, live streams, recorded gameplay, social media posts, podcasts, interviews, highlights, and promotional features.
By joining an official team, you consent to being included in any VALOR GAMING LLC content. Participation may extend to live broadcast events, community spotlights, team features, and collaboration with content partners. Official team channels (including Discord, voice comms, and in-game activities) are considered public content spaces, and team members should expect that these sessions may be recorded or streamed without additional notice.
- Team Visibility: Being featured in content is a requirement and a key part of building VALOR’s competitive image and supporting our sponsors and partners.
- Official Team Activity Assumption: Players should assume that any and all official team activity may be live streamed and/or recorded for future content, including but not limited to, gameplay, voice communications, etc.
- Respect and Professionalism: Players are expected to maintain a professional demeanor during all content sessions, as they represent both themselves and the organization.
This participation helps solidify VALOR’s standing within the competitive community and contributes to the organization’s broader goals of outreach, engagement, and creating a thriving content ecosystem.
