Meet VALOR – prawfeT
Hello everyone!
My name is prawfeT and I am the CEO and Founder of VALOR. A little about me is I grew up in Maine working on a family farm, gaming was introduced to me when my uncle gave us his windows 95 pc and I played a lot of rollercoaster tycoon and random games.
Currently I work for a software company, before that I was in the US. Airforce and worked in tech sales. I really enjoy working for the company I do now, every day is a challenge and always something new to learn. My passion has always been gaming both from a competitive player to more management.
I got really into gaming around 2001 with return to castle Wolfenstein, quake and then into warcraft 3. I always played sports growing up and am a very competitive person. I started playing Quake and the original Call of Duty when it was released and learned that people had teams and would do tournaments, so I ended up getting involved in Esports playing for teams such as EG. In 2009 I joined at the time the world’s largest gaming community (PMS/H2O) with over 40000 active members. I was Team Captain for the professional Call of Duty 4 team with Muew before taking over as the director of esports. For a while I streamed games such as VALORANT.
I played World of Warcraft on release and had always played each new expansion hitting max level but then going back to FPS and running my own esports team (team sentinel) with Katastrofik until covid hit. With the state that esports was in we closed down our team however after a few months I realized how much missed all the management side of things and had met Fel through Jettes stream and became close friends. We talked about doing an MMO community for a while and bounced around a few different games before landing on WoW in January of 2023 and here we are today!
While still new to World of Warcraft raiding and guilds, I have a lot of experience in both professional gaming as well as leadership roles in large communities. I have been extremely fortunate to meet some very amazing and talented people who have stepped into leadership roles. Surrounding myself with the best leadership team I could ask for. We dedicate a lot of time to VALOR and I am very much excited for 2024 and what the future brings. It is going to be a wild ride, lots to learn as we turn this into a business and see how far we can take this thing!
In my spare time when I am not working on VALOR stuff you will find me working on VALOR stuff… Or vibing to some music (normally country) playing kind or survival game and building a virtual house.
