Meet VALOR: KayDiddyy
OHAI! You can call me Kay or KayDiddyy or Kayla, I’ll answer to all! I was welcomed into the VALOR family about a year ago and absolutely fell head over heels for this community. I would describe what VALOR feels like to me as what it would feel like to have the best hug in the world from your favorite person. TM.
A wee bit about myself: I am a 34 year old mom as of today, April 9th, from potato country (Idaho). I have a beautiful, smart, mostly sASSy 3 year old son named Achilles and my life pretty much revolves around him. I also have a 10 year old PomChi named Rowdy and a big dummy 1 year old all black German Shepherd named Sugar you may hear me get after often, cuz she’s naughty. As a kiddo, I grew up on the dog show circuit with my grandmother who is a world renown Yorkshire Terrier breeder, and has been since she was 17. She’s in her late 80’s and is still invited to the Westminster Dog Show every single year. It nurtured my love for dogs, and when I came to a point where I had to start a career for myself, I became a professional dog trainer, specializing in working breeds. I did that for about 5 years and still do for private clients now and then. After I had my son, I wanted to be a stay at home mom, so I made it happen.
For IRL work, I transcribe for car insurance companies with my modern day typewriter, which I’m sure you’ve all heard in VC at some point. If you’re wondering where to get your hands on one of these bad boys, it’s a Razer Huntsman Pro. 10/10. My 105+ WPM ‘rocket fingers’ approve.
Besides that, I also run two Etsy stores, stream as full time as time allows, I am the team lead for VALOR Diamond and am the Social Media Manager for VALOR Gaming. Have you ever been to a buffet where you can’t help but fill your plate until half falls off while you’re walking back to your table? That’s my plate.
When I stream, I’m mostly streaming World of Warcraft or lately, a LOT of Overwatch 2. I also enjoy The Sims 4 (Fun fact: I started my Twitch career as a full time Sims 4 streamer), Palia, Supermarket Simulator, Icarus and Fortnite, but love finding new games to sink into. If I can play with my friends, even better. Except dirty, stinky, VALORANT. That’s a doodoo game. 😉 My gaming journey began with Heroes of Might and Magic with my step father. We bonded over video games. From there, I played some Civilization, Dungeon Siege, found The Sims 2 and practically BECAME a Sim for a few years.
The moment I saw the promo video for World of Warcraft, with the dwarf hunter in the snow with his bear, the night elf running through the forest, I got goosebumps and was SOLD. I began my World of Warcraft career starting in Burning Crusade on Kil’jaeden with a Draenei Holy Paladin. I have the boxes my discs came in somewhere in storage because they reek of nostalgia. In Cataclysm, I moved to the RIGHT faction, Horde, and never looked back. I love the grind of leveling and exploring a world you’ve never seen before. Once max level, I was introduced to PvP, battlegrounds specifically. I then ONLY did PvP from then up until Dragonflight. I dipped my toes into a little PvE action, filling in for a raid or two in my guild at the time in Legion, but that was very short lived. Like most ‘lifers’, I went through phases of really obsessing over WoW, taking a break and coming right back, like a revolving door. After watching a ton of different streamers on Twitch doing M+ Keys, it looked so fun to me, so I picked it back up again shortly after Dragonflight launched. I found VALOR after, honestly, a few DAYS of getting back into WoW, started PvE and the rest is history.
I have found a family at VALOR that I didn’t know I needed and I am proud to call every single person here my friend.
I am honestly an open book and a great set of ears if you ever need to talk. I love to chit chat and make new friends, but mostly I like to make people laugh. I’m a pretty funny lady, you can ask everyone…. 😉 I’d love to meet you if we haven’t already!
As soon as I met KayDiddyy in another streamer’s stream chat, I knew we had something in common! The memes as her emotes told me all I needed to know that we would become fast friends!

Over the past year, I’ve watched Kay grow as a streamer, a person, and as the VALOR social media manager. I knew that her passion for WoW, VALOR, helping people, and making people laugh would be an incredible asset and what we are looking for in leadership. Above all though, she’s become one of my best friends and VALOR wouldn’t be the same without her.
